Post 712

Mr Wheeler tells us:

HOLY S***, LORD OF THE RINGS AND "SINGLE LADIES" BOTH HAVE THE WORD "RING" IN THEM. HOLY FUCKING S***.

THIS IS ALL I AM GOING TO WRITE ABOUT THIS

-------------
i lied, anon pointed me to this. read it, read the post below it. if you are an xkcd apologist: go! explain how this is not the same!

Mr. Wheeler (if I have permission to call you Carl, please notify me of this. I would like to lose some formality, but I am not looking to offend anyone), I find your language more than inappropriate. The topic at hand is comics, which is a topic that children likely research. As such, it is our responsibility as adults, to give a good example. I have taken the liberty of censoring the offending word in your post, I think the meaning will still be clear to most if not all adults.

As for your post, Mr. Wheeler, I feel that it is lazy and gives a bad example. Your blog™ throws around curse words, is short and lacks any kind of argument. You are dressing up crudely phrased opinions as facts. This is exactly what the nazis did in World War 2™ and as such, offends me deeply, as I am reminded of less fortunate times.

What does Mr. Munroes (Mr. Munroe, if I may call you Randall, please notify me) comic teach us? Correlation does not imply causalation. What this means (as far as I understand it) is that just because the two things have the word ring in it does not necessarily imply that this is the joke. I am not familiar with J.R.R Tolkiens novels, but from what I gather after researching a bit, the joke appears to go much deeper than this.

Another thing, your post format is horrible. Why are you typing in all uppercase letters? Is this supposed to symbolize shouting? Why are you shouting? I don't understand.

As for the other comic, it's a pure coincidence and deserves no moment of my time.

That's all for this post, friends.

What is this blog?

Hello, My name is Julius Montgomery Wealthsmith. I am a professional mechanic at a local car-shop in South Virginia, my family immigrated (or should I say immigreated, ha ha ha) from England when I was 12. They came to America exclusively for my best interest, because they decided I needed higher standards of education, as such I was lucky to visit top-universities such as Havard, Yale and MIT. I became a mechanic at the age of 16, and I have always been a big fan of technology.
I am a strong Christian and am shocked to see the moral decay going on in younger generations, which brings me to the point of why I made this blog™. Being a tech-savvy mechanic, I was just surfing the Internet™ with my MacBook Pro™, brought to us by the great folks at Apple Technologies™. Anyway, I stumbled upon a comic called "XKCD", a "webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math and language". I'm quite fond of sarcasm, so I figured I would check it out. The lad who makes these comics, is quite young actually. I read that he is 14. This really brightened my day, maybe there's hope for the next generation yet. These comics deal with a wide range of topics and all seem well-informed. In fact, knowing about a lot of different topics is almost a requirement for understanding it. I'm confident that this kid is going to make his diplom and become a scientist, maybe he'll work at the FBI™ or NASA™.

Anyway, a few weeks later, I stumbled upon a site called "xkcd sucks", here on the very same blogging system. I was shocked and appalled. Why would anyone give this kid such a hard time for making comics in his spare time? I mean, come on. This comic shows his intellectual superiority to many of his generation and it's quite apparent that the author of this blog has no idea what he is talking about. As such, I intend to use my blog as a criticism of this so called "Carl Z. Wheeler" and his inflamatory blog™. You should be ashamed of yourself, you are a grown man for christ's sake (excuse my language).

Expect more.
